Re: Cats

I have a 3 year old ragdoll cat. She’s super sweet, but sheds a lot, so regular brushing is a must, which she doesn’t like sometimes, especially if she gets a knot in her hair. I normally try to cut it out with scissors, but she can get fussy at times. Overall she’s great and lays next to my boxer on ...

Re: Paranormal

In my downstairs' bathroom I have always had issues with towels falling off the hook for no reason ever since I bought the house. It's weird. These are solid hooks with a white ball or such on the end. I'll walk into the bathroom and the towel is just lying there on the floor. Yesterday my 4ft step ...

Re: Gutter's 5 Quick Questions for Second Hand Wardrobe Day 8/25/24

I think I would die attempting a marathon without proper training (which of course is what it is all about), along with motivation and goals. I jog occasionally, mostly on a treadmill now. I’ve done the Trolley Run in KC probably 20 times and each year it gets harder. I think I just hate running, ...

yeah, Yuengling is a pretty good beer, not too heavy. I've had it in other states, but I believe it just arrived in Missouri/Kansas last year or so. I get it every now and then.

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground

To my knowledge, I haven't had it, but I did feel pretty run down a few weeks ago, headache, tiredness, foggy head, etc. I don't have any newer tests, so I just stayed home and worked, I actually took a sick day, probably first since pre-Covid. Anyway, get well JFish.

Re: Dogs

Well, got Magnum into an internal medicine vet this morning and they believe he is doing good; the lymph nodes are not noticeable or swollen. A couple more days of antibiotics and a re-check in a month or sooner if I notice them get swollen again, so I am hesitantly optimistic. His 12th birthday is ...

Thanks Shirley. I do remember the doctor saying his lymph nodes were swollen in his back leg as well, but I couldn't really tell. They did do a needle biopsy on the lump on his neck and called me later Friday afternoon and said they were recommending an antibiotic first, so not sure if it was ...

Thanks all, appreciate the kind words. Hopefully will have good news next Tuesday when he sees an oncologist. He's been so healthy all the years I've had him, since he was a puppy, so hoping for the best.

Re: Dogs

I had to take my almost 12 year old boxer, Magnum, to the emergency vet last Friday. Felt a large lump on his neck. Right now he is on anti-biotics and the lump is almost gone, so I'm "hoping" it is just a bacterial infection instead of lymphoma. Some of you might recall my previous boxer, Bandit ...

Re: The Great Outdoors

I have a Ragdoll cat that's 2.5 and she is the biggest wimp. About the only thing she kills are crickets. I caught a mouse in my basement in a snap trap and I showed it to her and she ran off meowing...lol. And I have a ton of rabbits in my neighborhood. They are always eating my grass/weeds in my ...
