Looking ahead, the next couple years of Dajuan/Joe/at least one of Kyle or Bobby will be a nice trio of guards in the backcourt rotation

Dajuan may start at least early, cuz he “knows the system” and blah blah blah.

But at the same time, and has been noted, coach talk is pretty useless this time of year.

I mean, this time last year, coach was talking about Enaroona starting

Maybe Och learns to drive? Or Mac learns to dunk? Or Braun shows something more than Face Ass 2.0? Or Dajuan stops looking like the little brother that mom says we have to let him play with us too?

What game was it when Dajuan was thisclose to posterizing a guy on a fast break, but ended up blocked at the rim instead?

What I’m curious about is if shit stagnates with Och/Christian/Jalen and we ever get some kinda Dajuan/Remy/Yes lineup.

Yeah, Dajuan is good, and it may be big that he’s the only non-scorer out there this year, rather than playing alongside other guards who can’t shoot either

I think Dajuan is more valuable as the guard with experience in the system next year (or rather, if one of the freshmen is more ready to contribute than Dajuan, oh man) but if he has another year of looking like the neighborhood ...

... is more a score first lead guard, than a facilitator. Same with Yes, yes? So a floor general type could be nice, especially if we can upgrade from Dajuan and find one who can score too

I’d be surprised if more than one (shall we say) lead guard come off the bench for critical mass minutes, and that’ll hopefully be Dajuan.

At least one of Pettiford or Cuffe seems destined for Rio Adams minutes, if not a shirt.

For reference, the dood on his left is the same height and weight as Dajuan.

Dajuan’s jumper is weird and slow too, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now that he might mature and get stronger, cuz I’m pretty sure he’s still only like 12 years old.

That’s a lot of attention for a 4 star guard.

... he doesn’t exhibit leadership, try to be more consistent. Same for DMac. Mitch is a 5th year senior who still can’t even stay on the floor. Woof. Dajuan Jalen and Bryce will all only improve. Maybe even Tristan too. And who knows what Gethro might bring
