Krzyzewski has missed a number of games due to health issues in recent years. In fact, last season was the first time in four years when he had perfect attendance. He missed a game against Wake Forest in 2017-18 with a virus, close to a month in 2016-17 after having back surgery and missed a game in 2015-16 due to illness.

There is almost always a ton of shuffling in the Top 15, especially in these days of constant roster upheaval due to early departures and transfers.

The vast majority of D1 teams will be playing better in January than they are in November.

I don’t get how K is endearing to anyone at all. In every interview and presser he comes across as cold and arrogant, with no apparent charm or humor or personality to speak of.

If I was a recruit I don’t know how that dude could come across as charming while making his pitch to me and my mamma.

But, winning is winning.

And also, if I’m high profile enough to do something as audacious as seek my fair market value, I may be drawn toward the fact K and Duke seem untouchable by the ncaa or feds or anyone.

In some ways cal is genuine, in many he’s not.

I wish Bill were a little more honest publicly, but it’s probably the right game to play and I think being in a small midwestern town plays into it.
