Damn It Feels Good to be a Jayhawk
Re: Damn It Feels Good to be a Jayhawk
We would add, what, 3 wins if it included April?
Kentucky the same.
UNC 4.
I’m pretty sure we would still lead.

Glad I’m not the only one that hates almost all of the non-Jayhawk teams. Maybe I’m OK with Wisconsin.
Nope, hate them too.
Re: Damn It Feels Good to be a Jayhawk
There's plenty of non-KU teams I like and cheer for. But when you've been a KU fan for 40+ years, the list of teams that have some history with KU that makes me cheer against them is pretty long.hoopla wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 8:39 pmGlad I’m not the only one that hates almost all of the non-Jayhawk teams. I cheer for nobody other than KU. I might watch other teams. Or like certain players. But I don't cheer for anyone other than KU unless it indirectly benefits KU.

More than the next best three combined! Conference needs to step up
Re: Damn It Feels Good to be a Jayhawk
I once saw a shirt that read MIZZOU FINAL FOUR and it had a skeleton kneeling and praying.

2020 - No Tourney
2019 - Texas Tech - Runner Up
2016 - Oklahoma
Add in Houston that made the Final Four in 2021 and I'd say the rest of the conference has stepped it up, lol.

I'd even add that the Big 12 being involved in 5 of the last 6 Final Fours, while sending 4 different programs, speaks to the parity and strength of the conference as a whole.
Re: Damn It Feels Good to be a Jayhawk
Jim West is still working on getting us those numbers.
Re: Damn It Feels Good to be a Jayhawk
the BIG 12 is the best basketball conference in the land.
Re: Damn It Feels Good to be a Jayhawk
Case closed.
Sorry Jim.
Sorry Jim.

Re: Damn It Feels Good to be a Jayhawk
I was poking around Youtube last night and came across the messourah game. I ended up watching the first half. Geez, what a curb stomp. Almost as much fun the 2nd time around.
Defense. Rebounds.
Re: Damn It Feels Good to be a Jayhawk
Sherron Collins is gonna be the head coach at Free State! Sweet!
Re: Damn It Feels Good to be a Jayhawk
Picture this.....it's 2039. Jeremy Case is head coach at KU, with assistant coaches Brady Morningstar and Sherron Collins.
Some KU fans will have to find a new team to cheer for if that happens due to their hate for brady and/or sherron.

We could build about 100 all star teams with all of the former KU players that were going to become the KU head coach according to our fanbase.
The last, and only, former KU player to be hired as head coach: Dick Harp, 1956.
