Murthy added, “Many kids have died. Sadly, hundreds of children — thousands — have been hospitalized, and as a dad of a child who has been hospitalized several years ago for another illness, I would never wish upon any parent they have a child that ends up in the hospital.”
COVID-19 - On the Ground

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
There are a lot of good, compelling reasons to vaccinate children that age.
When the first you use is fatality rate, you show that you're only interested in virtue signaling, or, like Cascadia, just too stupid to even know what you're talking about.
Best reasons are preventing community spread since the efficacy of preventing infection is high, and the fact that we don't know the long term effects of infection. And to Trad's point, the risk of serious infection.

And most specifically, among people we need to keep the childcare world spinning (teachers, admins, daycare people, etc.).Mjl wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 11:49 am There are a lot of good, compelling reasons to vaccinate children that age.

I don't know a single person with school-age kids who hasn't had to deal with a surprise school/daycare cancellation through all of this.

And keep in mind Cascadia thinks that people should die because they're gullible. He doesn't actually care about lives. He just wants to think he's superior to others to make up for getting picked on IRL.

i am glad i do not have to make that decision. the one youngster in my family in that demographic had the fungus about 8 weeks ago.
