Well honestly, that isn't true at all. It is spoken about all over in TV shows, ads, commentaries etc...

But that doesn't mean that his theory isn't ridiculous because it certainly is. Ten seconds worth of thought about how Big Pharma could make the most money is all it takes to poke giant holes in it.

Why is it that if an umasked person coughs near me without covering their mouth, and I tell them I don't appreciate it, they automatically assume I'm a mask nut?
It's unreal! I tried to explain to them if covid never existed and I never wore a mask in my life, I would feel the same way, that you're an asshole if you cough next to someone without covering your mouth. They still had trouble comprehending that.
I'm convinced Covid has definitely made some people dumber.

I forgot to mention that it's bizarre because it happened to me 3 times in the last week I can't remember the last time someone did it before then.

In the group practice that I normally visit they usually hand out a mask if someone checks in to be seen for a cough, cold or flu-like symptoms - this was before the days of Covid. Yes, I’ve always noticed when someone doesn’t cover their cough or sneeze

Precisely my point. Why be in a hurry the last two weeks to trot out headlines about a new, possibly more virulent strain, not to mention deviating from labeling it with a letter of the Greek alphabet and assigning a scary name like Omicron?

Why not, instead, sit on the information until more is known so that people can receive correct information in a responsible manner?

Answer: It's a clickbait game wherein news agencies compete to see who can be more sensationalistic than the next and get people to follow their links. It's also a fear game designed to make us spend our money in ways that are not really necessary.
