if i feel like crap and just cannot go to work, don't go to work. but if i feel good enough to go to work, go to work.

the slackers are still trying to milk it. i'm looking at you millenials and gen z.

And, it's fine. In those years, they've learned from the millennials how to work smarter.

The worst are people in their earls 20s right now. They entered the work force during covid and think they go live their lives not working and getting free money from the government

Do you know how many of those people feel worse with Covid than if they had the "common" flu?
Reason I'm asking, on Friday I had interactions with 3 employees in my office who were clearly sick - but obviously felt well enough to be in the office - and had no problem exposing other people to their illness/es. I wasn't happy about it.
At what point do we NOT differentiate between Covid and the flu/a cold/whatever in regards to reasons to stay the heck home from work?
Anyways, almost 3 years later and people are still struggling how to (and not to) deal with Covid.
I have a strong feeling come January when I travel on vacation - I will be forced to wear a mask in the airport, on the plane, in the hotel (when not alone in my room) in restaurants (when not eating), in stores, at indoor concerts and sporting events, etc.
Not just because of Covid but because of the flu and RSV. I think it's going to be ugly. I hope I'm wrong.
I'll deal with it but I won't be happy about it. Now if things get "shut down" and cancelled, then I'll be pissed off.

Everyone that I have spoken to have tested positive for Covid.

One salesman, who was in close contact with one of our managers who came down with Covid. He texted us yesterday that he was now sick, but he was sure it was just the flu. This morning, he texted that he is full on sick as shit, and tested positive.

Seems like this variant is like the others. It hits the unvaccinated hard, vaccinated..not as hard.

I assumed there would be ebbs and flows but my major concern is we go WAY backwards and there are stronger and more dangerous variants - or even a different major virus . Which I wouldn't be shocked if it happens.

Not at all what I've seen going on. Vaccinated seem to be getting it over and over again. All of our relatives who are vaccinated got it harder than our family.

And the people I know who have gotten it have been vaccinated and it hasn't affected them much ( including myself - though I was fairly sick for a day ).

I dont know anyone in real life who gives a single shit about covid at this point. Wayyyyyy past that. Just a few ultra sensitive ku basketball message board posters is all I ever really see worried about covid at this point
