COVID-19 - On the Ground
Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
Without studying we would not have been able to get a vaccine to people globally as quickly as we did.
Unfortunately those here that are confident, despite any proof, that Covid originated in a Chinese lab, also don’t believe the vaccine does anything.
Catch 11.

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
those pushing/supporting the lab-leak theory are predominately politicians
those pushing/supporting the natural spill-over/wet market theory are predominately scientists
both theories are supported by some level of evidence, but neither has a smoking gun
the notion that “we” shouldn’t be studying these sorts of things is silly, and flies in the face 1,000s of years modern medicine. self-preservation is a pretty compelling

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Trust the "science".

I dont see why some of you are so quick to dismiss the lab leak theory. the simplest explanation is often the correct one
How many different viruses are on the time planet at any given time? Millions? Billions? All of which are constantly naturally evolving. Yet we have never once seen a reaction to a virus like what we saw with covid. We saw all the world governments similataneously shut everything down. That isn't a normal reaction to a naturally changing virus. The governments knew it was a lab leak, and thats why the reaction was so dramatic. The pieces just fit

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
All of us know there was something different about covid and how it was handled. No question. It was an unprecedented situation. The difference is that it was NOT a natural mutation of a virus. And that's why it was handled so much differently. Thats the only way to logically piece it all together

The question isn't "was the origin of covid19 a lab leak"
The question we should really be asking is "was the lab leak accidental or intentional?"

Way back about 8-10 years ago, Fauci and others were talking about how they were eager to test this new mRNA technology on people. The problem was, they knew it would be difficult to convince people, unless some kind of "major event" happened. It seems most likely that they created the event with covid.randylahey wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 7:32 pm The question isn't "was the origin of covid19 a lab leak"

You have no idea about mRNA technology or human trials or anything. You’re the kind of people who think they are astronauts because someone told you the story of the movie “Interstellar”. I’m not going to bother with the details of mRNA research (which goes back at least 30 years) because I would be wasting both of our time.

Help me out. You say "the governments knew it was a lab leak".randylahey wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 7:30 pm I dont see why some of you are so quick to dismiss the lab leak theory. the simplest explanation is often the correct one

Let's just focus on the USA. Our "government" knew it was a lab leak? Really? So all 435 representatives and 100 senators as well as our President and others in our "government" knew? You sure about that?

So in your mind Trump and Biden are "the government"?randylahey wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 6:33 amTrump and then biden both commented on it being a lab leak. Do you believe everything Trump and Biden have "commented on" is proven fact?

No I don't. But when dealing with liars (politicians) you have to be able to sort through the bullshit and use some common sense

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
But if 2 people at the top of the government, who couldn't possibly be more opposite, both agree on something for once... im talking about biden and Trump both thinking and saying covid19 likely came from a lab...
Then you should probably at least consider that might have been what happened

The probably with a few of you is you are so damn stubborn and refuse to consider other opinions than what you are locked in on. Im always at least willing to consider the alternatives
