To me, "cousin" means "first cousin" and anything outside of that needs to be specified as "once removed" or "second cousin" or the like.
Fine, but it should be "second nephew" or something. Something clearly indicating the generation gap.
well, that's just as misleading.

There should probably be a whole other word for it. Like, he'd be your excelsior, or something, and you'd be his terrididdle.

Hath not thy Terrididdle come finally to mourn his late Excelsior at Elsinore, Hamlet? Wherefore late lament life’s larder?

I can see it.

Welp, just got sent home from work.

Was up all night with a stomach bug, and now have a cough, so now I gotta go get tested before I can work again.

This seems like a really bad idea.

Exclusive: The White House orders end to COVID-19 airport screenings for international travelers

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. government on Monday will stop conducting enhanced screening of passengers on inbound international flights for COVID-19, Yahoo News has learned.

The screening operations have been held at select airports since January, when the first cases of the disease began to emerge from Wuhan, China. Since March, incoming international flights from select high-risk countries, which includes much of Europe, China, and Iran, among other regions, have been funneled through 15 designated airports in the United States.

As of Monday, however, international flights will no longer be funneled into select airports for screening purposes and all screenings will come to a halt, according to communications and sources. All screenings and rerouting of select international flights will cease at exactly 12:01 a.m., on Monday, Sept 14.

Daughter has been in school for a week and is already sick. Though I think the younger one brought it home from daycare.

Getting the older one tested today. Was a nightmare to get that set up, and she's not allowed back at school without it.

I’m doing better, thanks.

Was the kind of thing I’d normally just power through, except it’s 2020.

Was a moderate pain in the ass to get tested. (Kinda completely crazy that it still is)

I was negative for Rona but positive for rhinovirus, which is just common cold. Still had me under the weather for a few days, but better now.

My new favorite move...the "I got a phone call, so I can take my mask off to have this long conversation while I walk around the grocery store" move.

That was a PITA for nothing. Negative. But at least she can go back to school.

Glad the test were negative. And at least you got your results quickly.
