Anyone who wears a lab coat outside of the lab at my workplace is immediately reprimanded. It is a violation of safety rules. Similarly any doctor wearing their coat or other personal protective clothing/equipment outside of their immediately required location should have their medical license revoked. They are a safety hazard and a menace to society.
