I did the math wrong.
He only wins 22% of the time v Self. So he's 2% better than the field. And the field includes a number of non power 5 teams.

That 2020 KU team was probably the best KU team we have had in a long time. (Shame we didn't get a postseason). Baylor came into Allen fieldhouse and beat KU down by 20 that season. And we had a hell of a time trying to beat them down there.

The following season they beat us again. And won the the big 12 and a national championship

Scott Drew has recruited some excellent guards who are adept at shooting and breaking down an opponent trying to guard them. That is what beat KU last night (in addition to a dysfunctional offense, too many turnovers and a lack of interest in going after rebounds.

But Scott Drew as a coach still sucks as a coach.

Well, considering that Scott Drew has BEEN the coach at Baylor for all but 4 of our games against Baylor, that's not a big accomplishment.

EDIT: I found 5 more games between KU and Baylor that weren't on Baylor's website, all losses by Baylor. So Drew is off the hook as worse than his predecessors. But not by much.
