KC will pay Hollywood Brown as much or less than what they would have paid MVS next season. KC is well on their way to being better than they were last season. Most Super Bowl winners see players flee for larger deals after they win. Veach is having a fantastic offseason so far.

Less no matter what.
I think MVS was going to be 14 million.
And, depending on the incentives added to the 7 million base, 4 million of the 11 possible may not count against the cap.

My guess is Zona is holding on to that 4th spot to hopefully get Marvin Harrison but I wonder if they'd trade down with Minny ( who just traded for the 23rd pick ) and get 11 and 23 and draft their WR at 11.

Reason i'm talking about this is if Zona did that, they might be more open to trading their 2nd round pick for Sneed b/c they'd have 2 picks in the 1st.

I'd trade Sneed for Zona's 2nd ( 35th overall ) in a heartbeat.

There's a lot of WR and OT talent that will fall around pick 32-35.
Kool Aid would also project around there - just have to be sure his foot was OK but he seems like a locked in pick with Spags.
If we had 2 picks there we'd just have so many options to fill positions of need.

And with the money saved from Sneed you would have no problem resigning Donovan Smith and have him compete with Wanya and your 1st/2nd round raw tackle talent.

HOLLYWOOD!!!!!!!!! Sweet love it.

I am good with Sneed signing a extension and dropping his cap hit or trading him for 2.

I think Cowboys OT Smith would be a good get.

Got most of our defensive FA back still might get Danna back. Need some help at RB.

I’d just keep him if it’s just a 3.
I understand that we might not get the comp pick if we sign some FAs next season but I’d rather have a better team this upcoming season than loose Sneed for just a 3rd.

At this point it going to be tough to get more. The problem from the get go is Sneed agreeing to terms with a team. When you see the lions trade for cb and give up a 3rd for a one year rental at $14 million you wonder why they just didn't go for Sneed. Also the Fins gave up a 3rd to get Ramsey last year. So because of Tag Sneed getting $19 million next year is probably looking for a contract as good as the Bears tagged CB got and that may not happen. No one is trading for Sneed for a one year rental at $19 million. The more this drags out the more likely the market just isn't there.

Either Sneed can agree to a contract and we get a 3rd or Sneed sees they market isn't there comes back on a cap friendly deal or he signs tag and plays one year and then is Fa.

I’d rather the last option then.
There’s still a chance at a comp pick similar to what you’d get.

Yeah it's close. The problem is OT. There just is not a lot of FA this year and the Jets just got the OT from Cowboys for 1 year $20 million. So who starting left OT??

Colts are rumored to be in the mix.
Their 2nds and 3rds are the middle of the rounds.
I just wouldn't trade Sneed for 82 overall.

It'd have to be something like 82 overall and their 3rd in 2026.
Or we swap 2nd's and move up to 46 and get their 3rd.

The Chiefs have space on the bench for development tackles this year. Need a development LB, a depth WR, RB, CB and more DL/Edge in the draft. If they keep Sneed, spend a higher pick on the position. Again, a team will need a CB.

Ok bring him back or maybe Bakhtiari whoever wants a 1 year contract for less than 10 million.

I think Wanya showed some stuff there too.
There are a number of draft prospects in our range as well - it's why i'd love to move our 2nd rounder up with a Sneed trade ( but then, of course, now you have to possibly factor finding a CB in the draft too ).
