It feels like we're close to having the wheels fall off this mofo.

Glass half empty: this particular team can't afford any setbacks. This is a setback.

Glass half full: if you had to choose 2 out of the 3, we got the 2 we wanted.

Yeah.

Not to knock Tristan, but if we were at a point we were relying on like the 10th guy deep in the rotation to do things for us, we were already in trouble.

Ok, 9th? Maybe he’s ahead of TGIF

NCAAT so matchup dependent, though. Need our full arsenal.

But, even with Tristan, any 6 seed was going to be a handful for this team.

Agreed.

Sucks; I had visions in my head of Tristan breaking out during the first two rounds.

Let's just hope Jalen is ready to roll on Monday.

Tyon Grant Foster might be a pretty key transfer after all.

Yeah, TGIF is quite an X factor.

How many teams can go that deep into a bench and check in the most athletic guy on the floor?

TGF is going to need to be just average and we’ll be fine.

Braun will probably play the 5 during small-ball excursions.

I don't trust TGF...

The vaccine rollout is like a snowball right now and we are hellbent on keeping an artificial schedule.

Wow, so Bill just said McCormick tested positive as well, but it was earlier than Jalen and Tristan.

CB backup 5. MG and TGF will also work the 5 if needed.

That’s assuming you can’t play Dave more than about 20 minutes.

I’m fine getting Dave worked on Saturday and getting his stamina up for Monday if they play USC.

KU is fortunate in that EW, Wichita State and Drake don’t have true big men that scare you, but Mobley does.

TGF having a role this year was pretty predictable. I thought it would be a lot because of his NBA athleticism and a little bit because of COVID. Turns out, a lot because of COVID but had to have him all the same. Wish there would have been more time for him to get some clock.

Without Jalen, I wonder how much small ball we’ll see.

Cuz even with Jalen, we had a 6’8” elite rebounder on the floor.

But Christian Marcus Bryce Och Dajuan seems like the kind of lineup to run a 14 seed out the gym

Mobley's defense scares me more than his offense, so here we are possibly in a position where our perimeter guys need to knock down shots and be aggressive.

Focused play by Dave is also needed, of course. Would be great to get Mobley in foul trouble.
