Re: Jawhawks in the NBA
sounds like embiid has had enough. he had been kind of "politically correct" about the ben Simmons situation but is finding starting to say fuck him I don't care anymore
Re: Jawhawks in the NBA
I would think you could cut a cry baby locker room distraction for cause. Simmons could have used the off season to get better. Instead he believes the he is already there. Yes men all around him.
Re: Jawhawks in the NBA
I don't think Simmons thinks he's a perfect player by any means. I think he got butt hurt last post season/off season and is now forcing his way out.
Re: Jawhawks in the NBA
maybe....but he's making himself look like a bitch in the process
Just Ledoux it
Re: Jawhawks in the NBA
True, but the line of NBA players who fit that description stretches around the block. The players have a lot of control in the NBA.
What I can't figure out is why he truly wants a trade? He's not going to find a much better spot. I think he got his feelings hurt about trade rumors/talks and now he can't calm himself down from his hissy fit. They should dump him for picks and cap space. His value is nearly nothing at this point. Maybe a Dejaunte Murray caliber player if they're lucky.
Re: Jawhawks in the NBA
It's his choice. Because he wanna.
I only came to kick some ass...

of course I understand that not everyone agrees with everyone's choices

Re: Jawhawks in the NBA
He didn't use the offseason to TRY and get better? I was under the impression he was going to.
I guess he didn't if you are telling me that.
Re: Jawhawks in the NBA
Hell, at this point, I'm fine with Embiid being our pg.

Good to see MG get a bit of play even though it was late in a blowout win. A few assists and 0-1 from the field.
Marcus struggled a bit last night for the Clips. 10 points. 1 rebound. 0 assists.
Wiggins with a decent 17/6/3 night. 3-6 from 3.

How many seasons has Wiggins been in the NBA? It's obviously very early but so far it looks like it may be another one in which he won't be an All-Star. I can't help but wonder why he isn't and can't be a Jimmy Butler - or better. Shows you just how fine a line there is in the NBA in regards to "greatness".
Re: Jawhawks in the NBA
What are you guys jawing about?
Re: Jawhawks in the NBA
I wonder where Wiggins would be with Jimmy’s work ethic and competitiveness.NotGutterGutter wrote: ↑Fri Oct 22, 2021 8:27 am How many seasons has Wiggins been in the NBA? Or where Jimmy would be with Wiggins’s size and athleticism.
Re: Jawhawks in the NBA
Nope. Still the same whiny bricklayer. He would be on another team if there was anything positive going on. He really seems to have spent a lot of time moping around.NotGutterGutter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 8:39 amHe didn't use the offseason to TRY and get better? Embiid with an absolutely brutal rejection
