Rumor is Bobby and Yesufu have a pretty nasty bout of the flu at the moment. Maybe could explain yesterday's play a little bit. Hopefully it doesn't tear through the team

I think Bill is letting Jalen give a speech on Senior Night because academically he's a Senior. Gradey is a lottery pick; he's gone. I really want McCullar to come back next year. I feel bad for Big Cam; I hope he's approved for the hardship waiver and is able to contribute next year.

Cam ain't ever contributing much here. KJ/Udeh/zuby is gonna be a meannn front court.

If Cam gets another year he's competing to be the 4th big next season. Id welcome him back to do that if thats all he wants. Id understand if he transfers. Clemence will too

I don't know how much he'll contribute next year, but Cam has a skill that KJ, Ernest, & Zuby doesn't...a skill that will be severely lacking at the position once Jalen is gone.

Cam is not quick enough to play the 4.

He is enjoying his time at KU as a practice player. His GF is on the softball team. Life could be a lot worse. He should stay as long as they'll let him.

Doesn't matter imo.

I don't think force outs in a situation like this are appropriate or fair. If Calipari did the same many here would bash him for it.

We made a commitment to Cam. We should honor that commitment. He's done nothing wrong since being at KU.

Well, Cam has at least kept his nose clean.

But SDS was good enough to play as a freshman. Cam’s played 10 D1 minutes, ever.

If he’s still here, methinks it’s cuz staff thinks he can contribute. The fact he’s been hurt, apparently, is prob a factor too

Cam Martin didn't offer himself a scholly. SELF did. If he wasn't/isn't good enough to contribute other than practice then that's on Self. You don't kick the kid off the team because Self made a bad choice.

Yes, Clemence is hurt.
I know it's been a tough road for Clemence but I do think, with Wilson out of the picture, he'd have a good shot at minutes next season.

Not starter minutes but maybe 6th, 7th man minutes.
Don't know if that's a deal breaker for him.

Self was throwing him out there more than expected.

My guesses:

Clemence = maybe. Of the 3, he "should" transfer if significant playing time is something he desires. He isn't beating out Udeh or Zuby long term.

Zuby = no.

Rice = who knows.

I don't know if MJ or Zuby will or would transfer. I do know that Bill's history (and previous transfers' histories) suggests that would be an unwise move on their part. Transferring away from Bill has improved things for...who exactly? Grimes comes to mind, but only in that I'm not sure he really wanted to work or play the way we wanted him to.

We have three guards coming in but no bigs.
Clemence hypothetically has a skillset that none of our potential contributing bigs have.
So you might see a world where he comes in for Adams and plays with Udeh or comes in for Udeh and KJ switches defensively.
