Begs the questions if we call Malik Newman an NBA player. That situation is like the movie The Replacements.

But I think a guy that gets a single NBA minute is a great proxy for what it means to be a "replacement level" player. So it's useful for my point - it is indicative of a base level of NBA talent/ability. Not perfect by any means.

I never heard that correlation, only that Ben may have been the best player on the team in practice.

People also correlate Tyshawn turning a corner after getting caught having sex in AFH--that actually might have more validity.

thank god. I was wondering what the fuck had happened where he couldn't get a minute in a game where our back court looked so awful. I like pettiford's potential but my god he looked horrible. true freshman in his first real game after missing a month due to injury is pretty rough circumstances, checking in against a top 15 nationally ranked conference foe that runs a lot of traps/pressure
