Give one up
Re: Give one up
bro the thread is “give one up,” not “never gonna give you up”
Re: Give one up
gotta pick one, Rick:
give you up
let you down
run around and desert you
make you cry
say goodbye
tell a lie and hurt you
give you up
let you down
run around and desert you
make you cry
say goodbye
tell a lie and hurt you
Re: Give one up
“This” was “you”.
So several of you lied.

Re: Give one up
Spring, summer, winter, fall
Re: Give one up
Spring.
Unless that means March Madness doesn't exist.

Re: Give one up
Winter.
Spring is my favorite season. Days are getting longer, time to plant tomatoes, chiles and veggies. The flowering trees.

Re: Give one up
What happens with the spare three months? If I take summer out, is it spring/fall for nine months? Because, if so, that's obviously the answer.
Re: Give one up
I'm an avid gardener myself so I see your point.
My issue with Spring over the other 3 is that the constant tease of the upcoming nice weather. In contrast, Fall has this nice blend from warm to cold.
That said, I like all 4 season, just Spring the least.

Re: Give one up
Winter for me, no matter how you slice it.
Re: Give one up
Definitely depends on where you live.
I wouldn't live where I do if I didn't love winter.
Spring here isn't like the spring in Kansas.

i think in my retirement i’ll be moving equatorially, where the only seasons are wet and dry

Palm Springs California. 340 days of sunshine, 10 days of heavy rains, mild to hot temps.TraditionKU wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 10:34 am i think in my retirement i’ll be moving equatorially, where the only seasons are wet and dry

That said, Palm Springs, Vegas and Phoenix/Scottsdale are really, really icky, ethically-speaking. By the time I'm of age for that sort of thing, it'll be even worse.
Re: Give one up
that’s not even to mention the water issues that are likely to become even more problematic going forward
Re: Give one up
That's what I mean.
