He's shot 8 3s in his career. He shoots 55% from the line. He has averaged 8 points and 5 boards a game along with 1 block and 1 assist per game. And some think he's going to come in and play and be a guy who will be interchangeable?

GTFO.

He played 20 minutes a game at Creighton. Sure he started a ton, but he didn't play a ton. He'll be a great energy guy, just don't expect for him to come in and play a lot.

He's Kevin Young and Jamari Traylor. Fine pieces. But in no way shape or form should be a major contributor for a top program.

Maybe Bishop is a dude who will do the dirty work that the rest of the roster seems to be allergic to at times.

If he comes here, he’ll play early in year because of experience.

Clemence and Adams should play over him though.

But come February and March, he should not play more than a handful of minutes per game.

Haven’t we talked about offense offense offense on here? Why hype a guy who can’t play offense?

Clemence maybe; I doubt Adams would. Self loves experienced guys whop hustle and get rebounds. Bishop is good for both of those things.

Sometimes I wish Self liked scoring points.

Scoring is a cool feature too. He should play guys who score a lot.

It can't be all offense, bruh...at least not on a Bill Self-coached team.

He'll coach you defense, he can't necessarily get you to shoot well if you haven't yet.

I fear that will be more and more common with these transfer rules

Heard Self in an interview one time say he liked to recruit scorers and teach them how to defend. Harder to teach someone to be a scorer when they don’t have the knack for it.

Bishop's ORtg would have easily led our team this year. And please do not compare Bishop to Jamari Traylor. LOL.

Bishop scored 5 fewer baskets than McCormack this season.

This is rare for me but I feel much more optimistic about next year than the rest of the fanbase, if this board/twitter is any indication.
