That's not okay. It's not clever, it's not cute.

If we're going to play Harris 30+ minutes - which we're going to, in every single game that matters - that is NOT the way forward.
This game was about practicing specific plays and working on rotations and was not meant as a model of how KU will play an entire game moving forward.

Ok. To me, part of what we need to be working on in these JV games is getting Harris comfortable scoring the goddamn ball. Which he's going to HAVE to do, because Plan A for any serious team is going to be to leave Harris alone unless/until he makes that hurt.

Harris after two games is averaging fewer points than Michael Jankovich, Wilder Evers, and Dillon Wilhite.

... I guess Charlie McCarthy left the team?

2024 national championship, back and forth game, 2nd half down the stretch:

Hunter
KJ
Mc
Furphy
Elmarko

…then Dajuan finally checks back in with 4 seconds left and dribbles it out of bounds

there goes TDub douching it up again.

but yea, that's a shitty take.

if there IS some truth to it, it's that if this team is gonna make a natty run, we very likely will need OAD-type levels of production out of Elmarko and/or Johnny.

Well for that matter, and/or high production from some other newcomer yet.

And/or Kevin and/or KJ shows they're the type of dood to just go get buckets.

But in all likelihood, it's prob gotta be a guard. They're just so important in the tourney. (in that regard, it might have to be Elmarko in particular)

put another way yet, we need somebody to play that role of Remy against Creighton (not to mention Remy down the stretch in the natty), when the going inevitably gets tough in a tourney game and we need someone who can just make shit happen.

Unlike Ousdahl in his Tinder thread, DJuan took (and made) his open shots last night.

Someday you be a penetrating scorer Ousdahl. Someday.

Or even a stand still post up guy. That doesn’t look as fun, but it still helps one come outta head.

Remy never made 5 3s in a game at KU.

In fact, Remy only made more than 2 3s in a single game twice at KU.
