We always wondered could KU come back to earth? What would it look like if KU ever had an average team. We are about to find out because this is officially the worst team in the Self era and maybe in the Williams and Self era.

Something happened with this team on offensive principle. There has been a slower tempo and a more concerted approach to getting the ball inside. This has mind fucked us and now we can’t hit the broad side of a barn from 3. Needs to be outside in. Not inside out. No doubt Bill is behind this regression. Something has changed but I can’t exactly put my finger on it...

Watching the Texas game was the eye opener for me. That was the first time since about the Ryan Robertson era that I can remember such a non-athletic team. Now it’s every team we play that we look like we are devoid of any next level elite athletes.
