Re: Chiefs 2023
i’m leaning more and more towards “barstool sucks ass”
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: Chiefs 2023
You have to laugh. Chiefs have several of the most flagged players. . .

Do you don’t have to watch 15 minutes of that video:
Prince Tega Wanogho might be back.
I wouldn’t cap IMPORTANT for that.
More IMPORTANT would be Wanya Morris.

Gay is back was the actual story
Re: Chiefs 2023
Any ideas about the three frozen fans at the watch party? Just weird all around

the “friend” and owner of the house would seem to know more than he’s letting on

Yeah, that one was pretty weak.

it’s odd, if not downright suspicious, that everything from the living friend and home owner has been through his lawyer
zero comments (that i’ve seen) directly from him…quite the friend

Re: Chiefs 2023
If we all had a quarter for every time we went to a friend's house in winter to watch the Chiefs, were drugged and locked outside in the freezing cold without coats as we passed out.

Re: Chiefs 2023
There was a week in November living on Connecticut Street in a shithole of a house where my roomies and I did not have heat. It was busted. Lows were in the upper 20s.
Landlord ( could go in the landlord thread! ) said they couldn't do anything about it for a bit so I went to my rents and borrowed their space heater.
I remember watching KUBB and the Chiefs in the living room, layers of blankets, with the space heater in the center of the room, fun/freezing watch parties.

This certainly seems to be the single most likely explanation.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 8:38 amSeems to me like a bad batch of drugs might be the explanation.

Probably called his lawyer before making any other calls. Coincidence I am sure. Negligent homicide seems like a mean witch hunt kind of thing. . ..jfish26 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 10:57 amThis certainly seems to be the single most likely explanation.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 8:38 amSeems to me like a bad batch of drugs might be the explanation.

Yep. My guess is that things will heat up once the toxicology reports come back. The house was really close to lots of shopping up near Barry Road so it's not like if they were conscious and just found themselves to be locked out of the house they couldn't have just walked a block to the grocery store right by there. My guess is that the three guys OD'd and the guy inside passed out for an extended period of time and then when he figured out what happened, he just pretended like nothing happened. I WFH and I would notice if my friends cars were parked in front of my house multiple days after they came over to watch a game.jfish26 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 10:57 amThis certainly seems to be the single most likely explanation.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 8:38 amSeems to me like a bad batch of drugs might be the explanation.
