They could have called him for taking off his helmet. Like every other rule, the NFL has been consistently inconsistent about when they call that.

I'm a Chiefs fan. Wore my Super Bowl LVII hat to work today.
Like pdub, I absolutely feel the Chiefs get screwed at times.
That being said, if the tables were turned, I would assume Chiefs fans would feel the Chiefs got screwed multiple times on that play. That's all.

And as noted above by Al, Chris Jones was getting held often to no calls.

And also that was an uncatchable ball in my opinion.
It was also the opinion of the officials.
That's why the flag was picked up.

Agreed. Ball was not catchable. The helmet off would have been 15 yards post-possession change, I believe. Either way, the lame play-calling by Reid at the end gave them the ball back again and they failed to capitalize.

One a related subject, we need a receiver who can catch the ball.

The first couple of scoring drives by Minnesota were aided by call after call. But the end games are where suddenly the inconsistency gets called out. KC already took several sympathy flags weeks 2-4 for illegal formations thanks to this crap.
