Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

"...asinine throw by Mahomes on 4th down that Moore dropped. Great to have confidence in your guy but maybe not on 4th down to a guy..."
I just watched the replay.
I have no issue with that decision from Mahomes.
It was a great throw and would have put us on top - you gotta make that pass - and you gotta catch it.

Titans might be dealing at 3-4 with Jax at 6-2...so you might be able to get Hopkins...which obviously would be outstanding.KUTradition wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 10:03 amyeah, that’d be a good thing for sure
I'd definitely see if the Pats are willing to part with Kendrick Bourne.
I think the Bucs, unfortunately, won't trade Evans or Godwin because Baker has played well and they still could win their division.
Re: Chiefs 2023
In theory I agree with you. If that was Kelce back there then I have zero problem with the decision. I just have seen no reason to have any faith in Skyy Moore so throw felt like more of a hope than a expectation and was far riskier. Yes, he's "gotta" make that catch but we have been saying that he should have been making plays that he has failed to make on a regular basis his entire career.pdub wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 10:04 am "...asinine throw by Mahomes on 4th down that Moore dropped. The Chiefs are hoping not to have to invest in the WR system and that Mahomes can make their young/cheap options look good. It's a risk that is starting to show some unpleasant side effects.

Re: Chiefs 2023
Levi’s, in his first start, just threw three touchdowns to Hopkins (even if one of them should have definitely been off pass interference). He’s not going anywhere.
The Chiefs would be more likely to get Henry from the Titans.

Re: Chiefs 2023
Don't want a RB at this point unless it costs us next to nothing - Pacheco is good enough.
Titans are 3-4 behind a 6-2 Jacksonville with 3 road games coming up.
They probably can't sell it to the fanbase but getting something for 1.5 years of Hopkins and whatever is left of Tannehill and Henry would be the right move.

Re: Chiefs 2023
Because I read Titans boards, I can tell you it’s a mixed bag. Less mixed is how big a percentage of the fanbase has disliked Tannehill since Cinci playoff game he threw three INTs in (which propelled them to AFC Champ game, where they disposed of the Chiefs.
Re: Chiefs 2023
Hopkins didn't suddenly become more talented and the Titans didn't suddenly become a contender to make the playoffs after beating the Falcons. They would be stupid not to listen to offers and the Chiefs would be stupid not to make one. I'd love to see KC get Hopkins.Back2Lawrence wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 12:54 pm Levi’s, in his first start, just threw three touchdowns to Hopkins (even if one of them should have definitely been off pass interference). I had no jab in any post in this thread. You read into something not intended by me.pdub wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 1:32 pm I see your not so subtle jab and raise you: KU

I don’t disagree, but I doubt he moves. He’s under co tract for two years, and if there he and Levis have (potential) chemistry, I believe keeping would be at least one thinking process to help develop a young QB.twocoach wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 2:12 pmHopkins didn't suddenly become more talented and the Titans didn't suddenly become a contender to make the playoffs after beating the Falcons. PSA:
In case you haven't noticed, the Chiefs game this Sunday against the Dolphins in Germany is at 8:30 a.m. central time*. And correct me if I'm wrong, only available on the NFL Channel.
*Don't forget to set your clocks back 1 hour at 2 a.m. this Sunday morning, because daylight saving time begins on the first Sunday of November, and this year that is this Sunday, Nov. 5.

PSA Part 2.
It was NOT over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
Germany changed their clocks on October 29th, 2023 at 3:00am back to 2:00am.
There is just one time zone for the entire country of Germany.
The last time the Chiefs played in Germany they scored 3 points in a Pre-Season game against the Rams.
The majority of Oktoberfest in Germany takes place in the month of September.

This is true.
I've been to the stadium where they'll be playing in Frankfurt - I saw Mainz 05 play there - I want to say just before Oktoberfest started.

I have fantasy football investment in Tyreek Hill but despite that, i wouldn't mind if Justin Reid just levels the dude Sunday.
