Tucker Carlson
Re: Tucker Carlson
For the numbers; Tuckie and trump love them some numbers. Expect a comparison of apples and oranges in a few days to show that Tuckie/Elon had higher ratings than Fox.
I saw the worst minds of my generation empowered by madness, bloated farcical naked,
dragging themselves through the whitewashed streets at dawn looking for a grievance fix.

Re: Tucker Carlson
Why would Trump want to participate in the debates?
He has a huge lead. The whole point of the televised debates is to gain an advantage on one's opponents. All of the networks, Fox included, have a history of trying to play gotcha with him on live TV, so why would he want to 1) put up with that or 2) give them ratings?
With Tucker, he can be assured of being treated fairly and respectfully and rewarding him with ratings. Win/win.

Re: Tucker Carlson
The interview will be nothing more than an intimate massage by Tucker. Putin is sure to be riled.

I wonder if JK comprehends the majority (if not all) of the people tuning in to watch televised debates are not running for President.

I certainly wish it was the case that, in Trump’s absence (and, with it, his inability to drive conversation away from his many warts), a reasonable R alternative might emerge as an actual prospect.JKLivin wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 6:50 pm Why would Trump want to participate in the debates?

It might overlap and cut into fox's start of the gop debate. Probably tucker doing petty shit as a way of saying fuck you to his old network lolRainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 5:58 pmSo it's a 5 minute interview. Got it. I do not think the idea is for a small overlap.randylahey wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 7:34 pmIt might overlap and cut into fox's start of the gop debate. Probably tucker doing petty shit as a way of saying fuck you to his old network lol

Re: Tucker Carlson
The ratings of the trump interview on tucker compared to the gop debate on fox
I'm betting trump/tucker out perform fox at least 5:1

Re: Tucker Carlson
You missed the point. The advantage is in the polls - which he already has. Thus, the lack of point in participating.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 7:25 pm"The WHOLE point of the televised debates is to gain an advantage on one's opponents".Overlander wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 7:03 pmFunniest post on here in quite a while.
