It’s awful!

But know what’s even more awful?

Thinking the solution to all this fighting is more fighting.

For that matter, there were tens of thousands more Ukrainians who alive ten years ago, before NATO staged a right wing coup and flooded the place with weapons, yet you didn’t give a shit about them, I guess cuz the war machine propaganda didn’t tell you to yet.
The ONLY relevant person who thinks the solution to all this fighting is more fighting, is Putin. The fighting would stop if Putin would simply leave Ukraine.

easy....youre gonna get called nasty names and reported.

Vladimir Putin, Oct. 5, 2023: "...if Western defense supplies are terminated tomorrow, Ukraine will have a week left to live as it runs out of ammunition."
Any more questions regarding Russia's intentions and negotiability on Ukraine?

fuck off, seriously

did you give a fuck about Ukraine in 2014? or Georgia in 2008?

your lack of appreciation for, or knowledge of, history in that part of the world makes you look like a clown

but don’t let that stop you…
That hurts bro.

Fwiw I dunno if anyone really cared about Ukraine or goergia then.

But, it seems at the very least chicken/egg, if not deliberately provoked, whether Russia unilaterally invaded, or nato was fucking around there first.

If Russia staged a coup in Mexico it’s not like we’d just sit idly and let it slide.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Well, hard proof is hard to come by with these things, Especially when still unfolding.

But, evidence?

Among other points I’ve shared that you fail to recall, McCain and Biden were parading around Ukraine holding pep rallies in the immediate aftermath.

You think they’d do that if they didn’t think the coup was on our side?

And, the bigger picture evidence. The US has staged dozens of coups. It’s sort of our thing! Plus, we’ve fucked around in Ukraine for decades, too.

don’t you find it at all convenient that as soon as the Maidan Revolution occurred, moscow immediately blaming the US and NATO (like, within days, i believe)…but have provided zero evidence?

Do you really expect the US to just come out and be like “yea we staged another coup lol #yolo”

BTW that Russian invasion of Crimea happened after the coup was staged. Who knows whether they woulda still done it otherwise.

If a coup went down in Mexico, and no one took responsibility for it, but Putin was parading around Mexico afterward, what would you think?

if we can’t start with an agreed upon set of actual objective facts, this conversation will continue to go nowhere

An Apollo 13 quote comes to mind, as to your general thing here: "We are on number eight. You're talking about number six hundred ninety-two."

The person with the most power, in the entire world, to end the fighting right now, could do so very easily. All he has to do is leave.

You can say FUCK PUTIN or whatever as much as you want, but the fact is that talking points that distract from this reality simply are pro-Putin talking points.

Republicans using Reagan to be mean to other republicans:

History has taught us the cost of appeasement. While the Republican Party used to oppose murderous oppressors, today they kneel to them. They betray the ideals so many patriots died defending.

Appeasement
"Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect."

There are few things that support the argument that Trumpism is a cult, quite like the about-face the party has done on Russia.

If this was a cheap zombie movie, the infected people would be eating puke and shitting filets.

You have a gift for metaphors, jfish26.

Are you sure you're not a litigator?

dude, this is just more gaslighting.

Specifically which of my talking points do you think are pro-Putin? That I wish he would take his ball and go home and somehow be convicted of war crimes even more than you?

realistically how do you expect that to happen?

let's try this again:

if Putin agreed to a full retreat if NATO agreed to stop flooding Ukraine with weapons too, would you make that deal?

yes or no.

come on bro. I answered when you put me on the spot for some "yes or no" bullshit, so kindly return the favor, please.
