Re: KU basketball expected to face multiple major violation allegations from NCAA:
So, essentially above board vs. below board(?)?
It was above board for Josh Jackson's mom to get $90,000, for Nike to buy Marvin Bagley's parents a $200,000 house, and for KU to essentially pay for Josh Selby's restitution.
There's just a lot of avenues for Hagans to get a couple grand in cash--and that is with assuming his family doesn't have it to begin with.

You can have everything that is conclusively not a violation. I get the rest.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 10:00 am So, essentially above board vs. below board(?)?

Look at you, defending the rules!
Re: KU basketball expected to face multiple major violation allegations from NCAA:
Well, in terms of the climate of the situation - with the ncaa still hell bent on The Rules, and with no shortage of pending investigations into as much - as an institution that hangs its hat on the idea of amateurism (or pretense thereof), they can’t be too happy about an “amateur” at a high profile member institution flaunting the very thing he’s otherwise so limited to pursue.

I think if Cal were in Self's shoes, he'd be leading this from the front.
And would have had Long fired awhile ago.

Speaking of Cal. It seems weird he's only been at Kentucky for 11 years. Seems like 20.
“I don’t remember anything he said, but it was a very memorable speech.” Julian Wright on a speech Michael Jordan gave to a group he was in

And if UK players are still getting cash by the handful then why has Cal’s recruiting slipped?

KU just spent 100's of $1000's on lawyers to write 100's of pages of denials.ousdahl wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 6:44 pmHow so from the “front?”CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 3:42 pm I think if Cal were in Self's shoes, he'd be leading this from the front.

The real point isn't even about allegations and denials.
