I mean I still say Houston because NCAA will try to keep travel minimal for teams if I had a guess.

Texas it is.

I'd tend to think empty seats favors the favorites. No upset momentum/support. Refs less influenced by same.
My thoughts as well

Minimizing travel is going to happen. Expect to see stacked, unbalance regions due to this...
So youre saying Gonzaga gets a free ride to Atlanta?

So guys. I’m coming more and more to the realization that the tournament will not happen. At least in March anyway. Looking more and more bleak my the literal minute.

ACC fans not allowed. American about to do same. No word on SEC or PAC.

I was all for no fans and letting players play, but I think in 6 days, a lot is going to change.

Although NBA was considering shutting down season for a period of time, the consensus among teams is that they’ll play games in empty arenas for quite some time.

So fluid. Nobody really knows. But I think it’s a 60-40 that tournament gets played. Compared to 80/20 earlier today

I was off by a week:

Too many posts to look through right now. I assume someone else has already alluded to this but if not...
We already know the direct financial impact it's having on literally 100s of thousands of people.
I know the NCAA has to be thinking long and hard (that's what she said) about this - what happens if they start the tournament and don't finish it?
Can you imagine what happens in Vegas should that happen? Let alone people's brackets. I know that's the least of the NCAA's worries but it sure as shit isn't going to be the least of the fans.
I'm wondering if Vegas has suspended wagering on the tournament and if they will even make lines and book bets on the tournament - with my scenario being a possibility.

Always got a kick out of hte day games when 40 people max were there and the benches had to do the "defense" cheers, etc. like in little league.

Teahan, Jank, Mitch, you're up!

Do the Crimson Girls or KU Cheer get included in institutional allotment? How about KU Drummer and the band geeks? March is big deal for them, and could really be their time to shine.
KU Drummer is certainly essential.

No dice.

NCAA is probably going to announce tournament will not happen. And it might happen very soon.

NBA has suspended season. NCAA won’t be far behind.

The season is going to be fucking done. The easiest road to the championship Ku has maybe ever had. And it’s done.

Damn it.

To you "it's just sports".
To some/many people sports is a very important part of their life - and their livelihood.
