Hope the NBA draft/combine is delayed then.
NBA season may spill into August. I think it’s entirely possible.

Gobert, though.
If only we had 2,000 extra tests, and players/staff/refs are required to take a test before entering any arena.
One player, coach, staff, ref, tests positive - tournament is done.
Logistics wise, I have to figure it's easier (not better) to cancel it now than once it starts.

Give it to the regular season champ. The way it should be anyway

Remember-

We are most likely still to the far left of the normal distribution graph in terms of how the reactions/‘measures’(of whatever type) will be taken.

Again, of note, let's keep poli-bored stuff to Off Topic and poli-bored.
If it's basketball related, talk about it here.

If only 1% of posts are off topic, that’s an acceptable rate to endure, though right? Swish.

Thought the same thing. See people behind bench. Hear crowd noises.

I wonder how much leeway the NCAA has on the tourney. For example, the Olympics, by its bylaws, it must be played in the 2020 calendar year, otherwise it cannot happen. The bylaws should be able to be changed, but who the hell knows nowadays.

I think a truncated tourney will satisfy everyone. 32 team single site, two courts, only team and staff would satisfy all.

Day 1 & 2 16 teams, 8 games each day
Day 3 & 4 8 teams, 4 games each day
Day 5 & 6 4 teams, 2 games a day
Day 8 Semi (4 teams, 2 games)
Day 9 or 10 Finals
Eh, have you done the math on how long it would take to play 8 games at the same location? 2 hours each with at least 30 minutes between games would take 20 hours.

See above, two courts. Currently, each first round site has four games per court. Since there's no crowd, you can put it in a center that has multiple courts (i.e., AFH has other courts that teams use) It would only be first two days, so after day 2, all on a single court.

Another point against having the tourney: there's not enough tests here. Why create a situation where we have to give many of them to the healthiest people in the country?

Tests will be everywhere soon.

All it took was the FDA getting off it's ass and saying...uhh...ok.

You must have missed "two courts".
