Drive is 14 hours each way. Tickets are paid for, we should be able to get a refund. Tough choice.

No chance I'd drive 14 hours.

FaceTime.

It’s a national emergency bro.

Heck, make it fun. Make a scrapbook about how you had to settle for digital visits cuz a pandemic was going on. Then give it to the kid when they’re older.

Ok bro. Do what you wanna.

I just suggest it out of caution. I wouldn’t want you or your family at higher risk.

I encounter hundreds of travelers a day who have the mindset of, “I’m taking my chances, no way it could possibly happen to me,” and I’m a nervous Nancy right now.

My guess is enough people may have this mindset that if you flew, and exposure to more folks got you sick with this thing, you’d be in god shape to be treated, versus if we weren’t all going into our shells to a certain degree.

So.... Whitney Reynolds (http://www.whitneyreynolds.com) is a friend of mine.
Last night she posted this on Facebook.....

God is the best medicine
And prayer the best doctor.

Fu*k her!
Took a lot of restraint for me to not respond - You should be ashamed. God is NOT going to keep you from getting sick and prayer is NOT going to cure you. Go ahead and "un-friend" me but realize I am the sane one who feels your post is extremely dangerous and can cost people their life.

As someone who rides elevators with other people multiple times a day - I would probably be no worse being on an airplane but...... Given a choice right now, I would be very hesitant to get on a plane.
If I felt I pretty much had to get on a plane - I would do it.

To answer 99's question. My guess is you will have many chances to see your Granddaughter again.
On the flip side, If I wanted to be morbid I could say tomorrow is promised to no one.
If I were in your shoes it would be a tough call for me.

Thanks for the definitive answer, gutter.

Yeah, there’s plenty to suggest he already has it, and what difference has it made?

I’m just glad he’s the healthiest potus and most impressive physical specimen in the history of organic life, even if it is self-professed.
