That's mostly a regulatory matter that has nothing to do with Medicaid.

Kansas actually has more beds/1000 than the nation as a whole, and that's in part due to the fact that it doesn't have a Certificate of Need Law.

What holds Kansas back is the ACA's restriction on expansion of physician-owned hospitals, which makes adding capacity extremely difficult for the state's most profitable hospitals.

Speaking of In-Fucking-Sane - it's the President's second-favorite network.

Dang!

I thought Fox News was bad enough...my dad maintains its pretty much just the flu, it’ll go away once the weather warms, the important thing is to keep living our lives and not stop things like Thursday golf with his posse of boomer buddies, and dems should stop politicizing.

Aren't physician-owned hospitals extremely expensive?

Sort of like the Catholic Health Care system hospitals that elderly Catholic volunteers believe are Wonderful because they have a chapel right in the foyer, but they're really owned these days by the most rapacious of Rick Scott acolytes, who have jacked up the prices until they're the most expensive facilities around even when they offer fewer services and have higher mortality rates?

Gone are the days my physician friend tells about when the Sister Mary who headed the hospital okayed lifesaving operations for those without funds.

One of those crackpots will probably be Trump's next Cabinet member or appointed official.

Far be it for me to “defend” Cornyn but he’s not incorrect in pointing the finger at human desire to house and process animals for food, be it in China or US or elsewhere. Most epidemics originated in this realm. He just didn’t go far enough to include other animals and birds-pigs, chickens and ducks.

No, MERS (Middle East - Thus the name) and Swine Flu (Mexico) did not originate in the US of fucking A but you're correct in pointing out they didn't originate in China either.
