Dumbfuck in charge
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Watching this latest press conference. It is mind numbing how completely uneducated and incompetent our President is. This is staggering to watch.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
I didn't see this one. I assume it went something like this:
Trump is a hero because he closed travel from China.
No one could have seen this coming.
No other President could have handled this as well as Trump.
It's mostly Obama's fault.
The administration has done an amazing job.
Should have a vaccine by the end of the month.
People can't stop talking about the amazing job being done.
Fake news.
Somewhere in the middle, Pence stepped up to the podium and gave his best preacher speak ever.

That's essentially a verbatim summary. In fact, many people have described your summary as perfect!jeepinjayhawk wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 1:41 pmI didn't see this one. I assume it went something like this:

Not that I watched it either, but

Re: Dumbfuck in charge
One of many head shakers for me was when Trump basically said he didn't know non-contact thermometers existed and then laughed when he said he took Fauci's temperature.
It was something like that. I wasn't really paying attention because I had long tuned him (Trump) out.

Re: Dumbfuck in charge
any else notice Maddow used "epidemic" instead of "pandemic" at 4:31 (in the video gutter posted). I'm actually curious when the language changes. Seems about right for that time.

Trump wants that bail out money
It's a matter of National Security!
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
as wealthy as trump is, you’d think he could afford to not fire staff...
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
I wonder if there's any way for Trump to fast track this? Claim it involves national security? Because now seems like just the right time for us to take away health care from millions and millions of Americans, just as the number of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 is doubling every 2.5 days.

I mean the fact that you fucking ghouls think that working at his golf courses or hotels makes a person unworthy of the bailouts others will get is perfectly normal.

As long as it's at the Treasury Secretary's discretion and needed be reported to the public.

Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Do any of us believe that Trump would spend any of it on the people in this country who work at his golf courses or hotels?

Well, being the President of the United States has cost Trump "Billions" "Billions" "Billions" "Billons" "Billions" Billions" after all.TraditionKU wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 1:35 pm as wealthy as trump is, you’d think he could afford to not fire staff...

Good job! I hope you also told your daughter to listen to Trump so she could learn the definition of a sarcastic jag off.

Or maybe since they are competent, qualified individuals with actual brains who don't make decisions based on what random strangers think, they have assessed who would be their future boss, what would be their work environment would be and what job they would be asked to perform and they have chosen not to participate in that environment.DCHawk1 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 6:42 pmI don't understand why Trump can't fill all the spots in his administration.jeepinjayhawk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 11:56 amTrump wants that bail out money
