Trump hasn't been very Presidential at any point of his Presidency.chiknbut wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 3:02 pmEspecially since Trump has come across as so "Presidential" in the last 72 hours!Grandma wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 2:21 pm Count has to be happy Sleepy Joe has had a bad last 12-24 hours.

My fear is Biden is proving he's losing his mind more and more day by day.
I have mad respect for him (less as a politician) so it's actually upsetting for me to see/watch him struggle. I wish no ill will on the man.
Trump on the other hand, fuck 'im.

Shouldn't "Priorities USA" know better than to use the president's own words to criticize him?
Then again, although I'm not a lawyer, I slept with one once, and doesn't a charge of defamation require at least the following:
To prove prima facie defamation, a plaintiff must show four things: 1) a false statement purporting to be fact; 2) publication or communication of that statement to a third person; 3) fault amounting to at least negligence; and 4) damages, or some harm caused to the person or entity who is the subject of the statement.
And:
To prevail in a defamation lawsuit, a plaintiff must prove that the defendant made a false and defamatory statement about the plaintiff that was communicated to a third party. ... No matter how damaging, insensitive, rude or inappropriate a statement may be, the plaintiff will lose if the statement is true.

Ahhhhhh, now I see:
He talked about the coronavirus, then later described it as the democrat's new "hoax". Neither this or the couple of longer versions give an unedited version, but the media was full of stories about him calling it a "hoax" at the time, if that matters.

Re: who ya got?
So is the media "Fake News" for trying to portray that Trump is minimizing this by playing video of him standing their minimizing this? The people falling for his con seem to be screaming yes while subsequently denying the reality of Trump's own spoken words.Feral wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 8:07 am Ahhhhhh, now I see:

It's right there for everyone to see yet some just refuse to see it. I'll never understand a person's ability to simply create an alternate reality when reality doesnt fit their belief system. It defies all logic and common sense.
Re: who ya got?
Whoa, forgot about that whole Iowa debacle. This has been a long fucking month.
Re: who ya got?
I recall thinking that Trump's impeachment by the House might play a prominent role in the 2020 election...

I couldn't even tell you what month he was acquitted. I assume it was Jan of this year, but if I didn't think hard about it, I would say July of last year. I know September is when the Ukraine stuff started taking off, so that's the only reason I can pin point it better.
Re: who ya got?
WTF, I just looked it up. It was Feb 5.

Re: who ya got?
Indeed. It's like a tv series that isn't getting renewed....so they have to accelerate the story line to get it all in.
Like...Game of Thrones.
If it ends with Trump crushed under a pile of rubble....or torched by dragons....so be it.
