God, those numbers are bad. So to use her numbers, .04% of folks died from H1N1. Meaning Covid-19 is 50x deadlier. Also, using her 7,500 deaths per day, that means that at the very least, 1% of deaths in the US are because of Covid-19 right now. And this thing is just starting.

Several things are true, all at the same time.

China is hiding new cases. China hid cases in the initial outbreak. China hid deaths. We have a shitload of cases. There will be more -- many, many more. Even so, on a per capita basis, we're not as bad off it seems.

Probably no one doubts that China has suppressed numbers. Had they reported correctly, our government would have better prepared for the inevitable spread to the US, right, because our experts only respond to the actual numbers China reports.
