HD - I believe your post is well intended and if so, I sincerely appreciate it.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say if we didn't have a complete dickhead President behaving like an asshole while he is addressing the country during a "war" - and if I didn't feel he was MORE than just somewhat incompetent and clueless - my blood might not boil in terms of my feelings on how he treats others and what he says (and doesn't say) during his pressers.

I find it really interesting when conservatives tell me they don't watch the pressers - and ask others why they do watch them. He's the guy many/most of you elected to be our President. Now you don't care to see him /listen to him and what he has to say during a "war"/crisis?

Why the fuck wouldn't I watch them? Am I not supposed to give a shit that OUR LEADER, OUR PRESIDENT and his advisors along with "medical experts" are addressing the country during a "war"?
A "war" in which at the moment is affecting me in several ways.

It's fucking insane when I feel a need to explain to others why I feel it's important for me (and/or anyone else) to listen to/watch the President and his advisors and medical experts speak during a MAJOR crisis in this country.
A crisis in which possibly 100,000 or more Americans might lose their lives and as you said less than 16 hours ago in which we are going through an "economic apocalypse".

I've only happened to watch some of his "briefings," but it's obvious that he berates female reporters and especially female reporters of color or of Asian descent. And sometimes he goes off on male reporters as well, especially when they follow up on the questions the women reporters have asked.

CNN has learned she is returning to the East Wing as first lady Melania Trump's chief of staff as President Donald Trump's new chief of staff Mark Meadows shakes up the communications team in the West Wing.

Meadows is currently considering several candidates for the press secretary job, including Trump campaign spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany. The new chief of staff is also considering hiring Alyssa Farah, the current spokeswoman for the Defense Department, for a communications role, among others, two sources with knowledge of the situation told CNN.

Farah has held several roles in the Trump administration. After leaving her job as the spokeswoman for the House Freedom Caucus to become Vice President Mike Pence's press secretary, she moved to the Pentagon last August. But this would be her first position in the West Wing. Farah has remained close with Meadows since her days at the Freedom Caucus.

Grisham, who still speaks with first lady Melania Trump on a daily basis, is returning to where she has spent the majority of her time in the administration, the East Wing.
