I smoked a beef roast the other day and have been using it as protein in various dishes.

chopped it up and put a bunch in a quesadilla. Some pinto beans and onions, smothered in El Pato sauce, delish.

I love El Pato. When I was a kid growing up in the 60's it wasn't available in KC. In the summer we would drive to LA to visit my Mom's family and pick up a bunch of Coors beer on the way, which wasn't available in California. Then we'd trade for El Pato.

I only half realized there are so many different flavors of El Pato. Which were you coorsing?

I have the green jalapeno sauce. I like it cuz the primary flavor seems to be peppery, instead of just hot.

ohh I haven't tried that, I'll have to get some...then again, maybe it's not wise to be experimenting with new hot sauces during a toilet paper shortage...
