chicago
Espresso Martini. About $11-$15 everywhere.

I would not order one from Starbucks, though.
never had one, but it was my experience that chicago was more expensive for just about everything

but, i was just a lowly midwest kid the last time and only time i spent any appreciable amount time there
I enjoy them, especially after a big meal.

Chicago is certainly most expensive in midwest, but cheap compared to certain areas of Miami, NY and SF.

STARBUCKS RESERVE™ ESPRESSO MARTINI
Our decadent, delicious take on a classic. Starbucks Reserve™ Espresso, Kalak Single Malt Vodka, Barrel-Aged Vanilla Syrup, Dark Chocolate.

Jeeper - I was there to meet an amigo after I was at the Nike Store across the street.
Some people drink $18 coffee drinks and some people pay too much for sneakers.
I guess my attitude should be - who am I to judge?

I'm sitting here eating cheese balls and thinking about how cheese balls can have 3 (or more) completely different meanings.

I've been in madness since birth.
Speaking of madness, last night I got called out by a co-worker for something I had zero involvement in.
I let it be known (via email) in a "professional" but stern manner that I didn't appreciate it.
It's Friday. Usually Fridays are enjoyable days for me. Right now between the mandatory work from home confinement and the fact that the weather in Chicago is gloomy and depressing, I'm not enjoying my Friday. At all.
Looking forward to pdub continuing his tournament updates. I have a feeling that's going to be the highlight of my day today.

Laugh of the day.....

I have a friend who's cousin used to call him Cousin Brain Dead.
Today he posted on Facebook that he's very sad and "I just heard the Mayor say no concerts or festivals all summer".
Wellllll..... He didn't hear HER say it because SHE never said it.
Our GOVERNOR said, Promoters need to "think seriously" about cancelling the events and these were his exact words - “From my perspective today, I don’t see how we’re going to have large gatherings of people, again, until we have a vaccine, which is months and months away. I would not risk having large groups of people getting together anywhere,” Pritzker said. “And I think that’s hard for everybody to hear, but that’s just a fact.
“Even with testing and tracing and treating as is necessary for us to begin to make changes, it isn’t enough for me to say that it’s OK to have a big festival with a whole bunch of people gathering together.”

My friend corrected himself and said he heard the GOVERNOR say it. Say what? "No concerts or festivals all summer"? He didn't actually say that!

I then told him "Right! The Short Black Lesbian Woman is our Mayor and the Fat White Jewish Guy is our Governor. Easy mistake to make".

As long as I am going to be accused of being racist today, is it bad that I laughed to myself thinking could you imagine being the child of a Chinese father and an Indian mother and not knowing if you should eat that thing or hold it sacred?

I know you're being a smartass, but you're totally correct. It's like having Pappy bourbon mixed with Coke Zero.

Only a few tracks. Tampa Bay, Gulfstream, and Oaklawn are the tracks I consider to be legit.
No crowds. Wagering done "on-line".
Remington and Los Alamitos usually run at night.

5:15pm CT

7,164 live tickets remain for the last race.
Not sure about possible payouts yet.
Race goes off in about 5 minutes.
I'm hoping for a long shot so I can see people win a huge payout.
Stay tuned.......
