I would say you would want someone who is ready and able to take over once Joe forgets entirely where he is and who he is or keels over. Same could be said about trump. Never before have VPs mattered as much (at least in my lifetime)

Joe has been there for several weeks now. The primaries have basically been a remake of Weekend at Bernie’s.

Biden isn't entirely there anymore, but I trust him to put competent people in leadership positions and listen to them.

For this reason, he's better than Trump and probably Hillary.

would Hillary have not?

I'm not trying to take her side. But I still at least would have trusted her to appoint trained professionals based on actual qualifications and experience, rather than appoint based on loyalty.

Who do the Democrats have that could possibly replace Jared and Ivanka?

Actually she does. Maya Harris is a very accomplished woman in her own right, a lawyer, and has held several senior positions in various organizations and non-profits such as ACLU. Lately she’s a commentator on MSNBC. I think she also ran Kamala’s campaign

I've gotten some of those recipe chain letters since this shutdown started. Maybe you could do an "old-time racist jokes" chain letter.

I'm being dead serious by asking these three questions. I have my own answers but am interested to read other's answers first.

1) If it truly is Biden 49-42 nationally (I know I wasn't polled and my guess is neither were most if not all of you), then shouldn't the Dems realize Joe Biden is a shit choice and try and figure out QUICKLY how to get him out and who would have a better chance to win?

2) Even if we had the greatest most popular politician of all time running against Trump, would Trump would still get 40+% of the votes in November?

3) Do many people really not care that Trump is a complete asshole because ___________ (fill in the blank with whatever you choose) ?
