More ventilators needed?

Just as I thought, we’re going to be up to our necks in ventilators.

Just wanna make sure I follow.

Ventilators are for the worst of the worst cases.

And -- remarkably -- the worst of the worst cases tend to result in death.

Therefore, we don't need ventilators.

In some cases, I just don't want to know what these studies publish because they all seem to change daily and create more fear and anxiety.

perhaps, just perhaps, any unused ventilators can be used if/when the fall resurgence wave hits

or *gasp* actually put into the stockpile for use during a future pandemic

Sure. That assumes that the person doing the thinking doesn't have a preconceived agenda driving their notions, which is pretty rare these days.

Yes the same way airlines are flush with inflatable life vests and ships and boats are flush with life jackets. How many flights have you been on and have you ever needed one! Harumph!!
