yup

also why biodiversity matters, and why understanding it is so important

I just saw this too.

https://www.researchsquare.com/article/rs-20304/v1

One of the reasons people were using hydroxychloroquine was that it targeted RNA-dependent RNA polymerases. I honestly wonder if the reason medical personnel initially saw positive effects, and the more recent research shows no benefit from the drug is that the virus quickly selected for mutations that made the drug ineffective.

Crazy and clearly clueless/uneducated/stupid.
I should have used what little brain I have and realized there can be different "strains" of the same virus.
Well, I'll go put on my dunce cap and sit in the corner for a short time out.

"Governments will always play a huge part in solving big problems. They set public policy and are uniquely able to provide the resources to make sure solutions reach everyone who needs them. Albert Einstein

Rolf-Dieter Heuer

"When it comes to the budget, we know that we shouldn't be cutting more on core investments, like education, that are going to help us grow in the future. And we've already seen the deficit cut in half. It's going down faster than any time in the last 60 years. So why would we make more cuts in education, more cuts in basic research? Nobody thinks that's a good idea."

It's Twilight Zone time again. Wake me up when this is over.

We are facing a pandemic, a pandemic, and apparently now that Dr. Trump is no longer promoting medications like Hydroxychloroquine for an illness it has no indication for anymore, he's moved on to injectable disinfectants, and light.

This is an insult to anyone who cares about facts and reality, who cares about their family, about their fellow Americans, and America:

That's right.
He said that in the same presser where he stated he doesn't agree with HIS "medical expert" Dr. Fauci regarding testing.

Poor Dr. Birx. I'm alternately disappointed and feel sympathy for her, her position is impossible. Checkout the look on her face at the end of the second tweet, (feel free to ignore the first tweet), after Trump puts her on the spot. Now, she's probably reminiscing fondly about her professional reputation, pre-coronavirus.

PSA: Warning, if you happen to walk by a bottle in your garage or see a bottle under your sink or in your basement with the word: "Disinfectant" on it, do not draw it up into a syringe and inject it into your body! Really!

(Although apparently if you do, it will definitely have absolutely no correlation whatsoever to the fact that Dr. Trump kinda sorta promoted the idea today on national TV.)

I'm going to cut the guy some slack.
I think he must have been having a flashback to the time Epstein told Donnie it's fine to bang all the shank he (Epstein) provided him (Donnie) with as long as he injects some "disinfectant" in to his schlong.

Sometimes you have to wonder which is more bizarre, the current pandemic or that this Fucking Moron is our president.
