Just accept that you’re an evil papist and move on, DC. It’s a foregone conclusion.
Hey DC, sorry HD was a little late. It appears he has other folks to fluff as well.

I don't. I think most teachers a pretty great.

But I also think that the knee-jerk reaction to assume that teachers are uniformly underpaid and underappreciated is the result of political mythologizing.
and i’d wager that you’re wrong, at least as the subject relates to elementary, middle- and high school teachers
Wrong about what? That the national average teacher pay is $60,000 for nine months work, plus public employee benefits, after earning what CAN BE (note the hedge) one of the biggest jokes of a degree available?
Your post is exactly why people say teachers are "underappreciated." Yes, the school year is 9 months long. But I don't know a teacher who doesn't spend an entire summer working/prepping for the upcoming year or doing summer school. No to mention being a teacher is hardly a 40-hour a week job.

Pretty sure you didn't mean to be cavalier about this.

If were gonna talk about filets we could at least attempt to dovetail into the conversation without crashing it around like a fox in henhouse.
