I pledge Allegiance to the NRA
Re: I pledge Allegiance to the NRA
Sea - You have to ask him but I laugh that the guy behind him has a "medical"(?) mask hanging from his vest (for what purpose?) and wouldn't be surprised if he just heard/told a "nigger" or a "kyke" or a "chink" joke.
Re: I pledge Allegiance to the NRA
how are some folks so paranoid?
anything and everything is the boogieman a'comin to take yall's rights.

Re: I pledge Allegiance to the NRA
sad thought, but there may be some validity.
there's also a certain small world conceit to it too; a sense of self-importance so inflated that they think a pandemic - a fucking pandemic! - is really just some elaborate conspiracy to erode the 2nd amendment in flyover states.
yeah cuz that's what the world is worried about right now.

I hadn't ever thought of it that way.jeepinjayhawk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 9:35 amThe only way for them to keep the gun out of their mouth is to find someone that they hate more than themselves.

You probably never had to deal with them professionally, in all of their glory.Feral wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 10:23 amI hadn't ever thought of it that way.jeepinjayhawk wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 9:35 amThe only way for them to keep the gun out of their mouth is to find someone that they hate more than themselves.

My hat's off to them. It's amazing how quickly they've built their arsenals back up after the knee-grow Muslim from Kenya took away all their guns, and locked them in FEMA camps!ousdahl wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 10:01 am sad thought, but there may be some validity.

Re: I pledge Allegiance to the NRA
I feel Jeeper gave you an extremely profound answer that can't be topped.
My response is when you have the President of the United States repeatedly telling you during a COVID-19 related press conference that the Virginia Governor has done a "very bad thing" and "wants to take away your guns" you become paranoid.
If our President wasn't such a politically motivated asshole and actually gave a fuck he might have wanted to tell people exactly what Ralph Northam did.
What he did was hopefully make it more difficult for people to get shot and killed.
I don't believe he took away the right for a sane responsible person to to own a gun. Did he?
Nevermind what took place in Virginia on April 16, 2007 (Virginia Tech Shooting), or March 4th 2010 (Pentagon shooting), or June 14th 2017 (The "Baseball" shooting) or May 31st 2019 (Virginia Beach shooting).
Why should stricter gun laws/measures go in to affect? Who the fuck cares about those shootings in the state of Virginia? Well, maybe the Governor does - and SHOULD.
I say, good for Ralph Northam - and fuck Donald Trump.
Re: I pledge Allegiance to the NRA
Global pandemic has definitely made me think having some guns and ammo (for hunting and protection), and learning how to hunt/grow food/self sustain might not be such a bad thing.....obviously that's extreme, but if we ever had a situation where we had to shutdown and it got so bad that the food supply became non existent there would be total chaos.
Probably/hopefully won't happen in my lifetime or my children's....but the chances of something like that happening are definitely not 0%....and this pandemic has proven to me a lot of people will be too stupid/or too slow to believe it's serious until it's too late to stop the spread of something on a massive level.
Hopefully we learn from this...but I have my doubts.

Yep, that's when I would wish I was a gun owner. So I could shoot myself in the head. You would want to live through that? No thanks. I'll take a pass. Then again, it's easy for me to say that being I don't have a family to take care of and support.

The inate drive to survive is strong gutter, even if there isnt a bright future. In the bleakest situation I'd like to believe I woukd fight til the end.
Just Ledoux it
Re: I pledge Allegiance to the NRA
I admire your will to survive no matter the circumstances.
In my 53 years I've never given up - on life - but....
If there was no food supply in the world and " total chaos", I am 99.9% sure I would have zero desire to be around to see it happen/ing.
