Right, I just can't see Bill letting the Pats go 5-11 just so he could have an easier way of getting one of the top QBs.

I could see tricky ol Bill getting on the phone with Rodgers and, using their recent draft pick against the Packers, convincing him to join the dark side.

This outcome seems preordained. Lots of gas left in that tank. He won't take the Love situation well at all.

Bummer - Colquitt released, saves Chiefs 2 mill v the cap.

Great Chiefs career but probably won't be punting all that much in the coming years.

No way the Patriots finish any worse than 8-8 this year. I bet they still win their division.

They went 11-5 with Matt Cassel.

I’d also bet they finish with a better record than Tampa Bay

You or I could be a serviceable replacement as long as Mahomes is healthy

There's a rookie out of Florida who may win the gig.

Honestly, they should just let Butker do it, and save the roster spot.

Henne can hold the kicks. Give him something to do.

Forget a punter. They should just go for it every time.

When it's the player who says "let's get to work" that's a great first sign that you have a solid kid.

LOL.

10. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs
Uh ... yeah.
The verdict: Without a doubt.

I did actually laugh when I read that. I was expecting something long like everyone else had, but then I read that and laughed for a good minute or two.

He’s good. Really good. And he’s a Chief FOR EV ER

37 year old Frank Gore playing another year, spelling Leveon in NY.

And it’s not as if he’s just there for motivation—he had around 600 yards last season in a backup role.

The stats for HOF RB's after Tomlinson, Peterson, and perhaps Gore will look very, very different than past inductees.

Is he? Longevity is a big plus for him.

But was he ever a top 5 back in the NFL? Maybe a year or two..? I would like to think Hall of Fame means being top 5 at your position for a considerable amount of time.
