God willing you and your students will be back on campus when the school session is scheduled to begin in the late summer/early fall. I would assume you would want people to do everything conservatively possibly that they could to make that happen. Am I right? If by "being played" you mean I have had multiple friends/co-workers/acquaintances lose loved ones who were not in the hospital before they contracted and died of/with (whatever word/s you choose to use) COVID-19 - you're right, I'm "being played".
If by "being played" you mean I have many health care workers who live in the same building as me, I live 2 blocks from a major hospital, and I have seen and heard what is "allegedly" going on - you're right, I'm "being played".
If by "being played" you mean I have heard first hand accounts of many phone calls and video conferences between some of our nation's governors and our Vice President - you're right, I'm "being played".
If by "being played" you mean I have a brain in my head in which I have the ability to differentiate between common sense and stupidity in terms of preventive measures to keep myself and others out of unnecessary danger - you're right, I'm "being played".

Just got out of a presser with Trump.
I kept saying "Mr. President, Mr. President".
He finally acknowledged me and pointed at me to ask him a question.
We had the following exchange.

Me: "Mr. President".
(I'm interrupted by him)

Trump: "Who are you"?

Me: "Excellent album. Are you a big fan of The Who Mr. President"?

Trump: (confused look on his face) "Nah, I'm not really a big fan of WHO". "The World Health"....."What's your question"? Who are you with"?

Me: "I'm with nobody. I'm here by myself".

I can't figure out why on earth anyone thinks that's even possible, because it is literally not.

Maybe he can change his Twitter handle and keep tweeting pretending he's president? But that is about it. Law enforcement would literally remove him from the white house if he refused to leave....just like a regular citizen.
