Shit in Dallas is getting pretty wild tonight. I will not share the video, but a guy defending his business was attacked and beaten with a skateboard and rocks. Sickening.

I saw some bad shit tonight and what I witnessed was "minor" stuff compared to some of the other things that are going on.
Curfew came quick in Chicago. Not enough notice. People can't take public transportation (stopped due to safety concerns) and many streets are blocked off - so how are people supposed to get out of the city who don't live in the areas where they are protesting?
I was on foot and had to basically beg a line of cops to let me get through so I could go home.
Felt horrible when a guy who worked at the Children's Hospital asked me how he can get to the train. He was terrified and just wanted to get home. He was in tears.
In hindsight I should have told the guy he could crash at my place.
