I guess two days is all you get to act like terrorists before you get treated like terrorists. It's about two days too long, in my opinion.
Gonna have to disagree. Where are the terrorists? At NO point should you get shot at by police when you are on your own property not being violent. We are not a police state we are not russia or china thank god.
exactly

there should be some legal repercussions, imo

nothing at all wrong with sitting on your own front porch
But if there is a lockdown order in place for the Plandemic, then you should be arrested for going outside? That seems like a double standard to me.

Not for me. I think, no matter what or how valid the protest is. Large public gatherings, especially with people traveling in are incredibly dangerous and should not be the form of protest now. I think community leaders and organizers should know better and be held accountable.

100,000 Americans are dead from this pandemic and this is exactly the way to cause a massive uptick. Look at what happened to New Orleans following Mardi Gras. Now this is in every major city. Even hotspots, like the Flatbush area of Brooklyn.

I understand the anger and frustration, but there's no reason to put EVEN MORE lives at risk involuntarily. There have to be other ways to protest.

Yknow. The other issue with this is that the curfew they were supposedly enforcing is only for publically accessible places. A front porch wouldnt be included in the curfew.

Stunning, depressing pictures, gutter.

I don't get all the destruction either, and it takes attention away from where it belongs, on the murderer and the system that protects people like him too often. Except, that after 400 years of talking, praying, yelling, kneeling, and watching Blacks being abused and even killed by police right before our eyes hasn't helped much, so in a way, it's totally expected.

Anyone who thinks that treating people like shit for centuries with little to no hope things will improve in the future won't eventually lead to violence is kidding themselves.
