The folks in this country are now left out in the cold. The forgotten. The left behind.

The issue I have is that the vast majority of the "batshitcrazy looney left" stuff is either completely fabricated, grossly misrepresented or if true, is being incorrectly applied to everyone who is not a Republican. And then it is compounded by the messages of the batshitcrazy right being dressed up in smoothly edited videos and easily passed along images and shared via Facebook by regular conservatives, who prior to this con, I considered not to be the "batshitcrazy radical right".

Trump has weaponized people of faith. Not just churchgoers but all people who are willing to believe what they believe based only on the hope that it is true without evidence supporting it. He has convinced them that the providers of clear evidence that proves what they believe is not the case cannot be trusted and that only he can be trusted as the source of truth despite the mountain of evidence over decades that easily prove how absurd that is.

People WANT to believe they are right. People WANT to believe they aren't being used as pawns. Every time Trump opens his mouth to accuse someone of something, it is basically an admission of what he himself has done or is doing. It is mind boggling what has happened to this country. Donald Freaking Trump is our President, people. WTF?!? Are you kidding me?

Trump has identified a group of people who he believes are more prone to believing his bullshit and he is milking them for all he can. I never made any such claim that every single person in that targeted audience has fallen for the con. Foreign adversaries have doubled down on that same group and targeted them on Facebook with fake stories from fake people in a successful campaign to sow discord and hatred amongst US citizens. That's not some Infowars.com conspiracy; that's a proven fact reported numerous times by our own US intelligence services, who were labeled "enemies of the people" by Trump as soon as they started to report it. Meanwhile, I have not seen a single one of my liberal friends share some sort of "my friend shared this and I agree!" bullshit post like I see covering my conservative friends Facebook walls.
