Its more about the ridiculousness of analyzing and guffawing at every single thing that trump does. I look forward to it not happening with Biden. There are plenty of legitimate things to be angry with trump for and make fun of him for that its silly to do it at every step. The same people that got frustrated with some particular posters saying cankles or dowdy or bad touch or whatever other stupid things that are said are now posting similar things 20 times a day.

From a purely political POV, I think it's a great idea to ridicule him for this. The biggest argument against Biden so far has been he's too old and senile to handle the job. So if Trump can be painted as every bit as old and senile, that argument dies.

From a POV of how this actually matters at all to anyone, yeah, it's stupid. Obama used to refer to this as "silly season". That's what this is. And of course the liberal base is eating it up.

I couldn't care less about what it looked like. Nice dress shoes are typically a little slippery and he's old and not coordinated. People are only making fun of his because his lame lie about it. Otherwise it would have been ignored completely.
