And then you gotta call a tow truck driver to get rid of the damn thing, and hell, they probably send over a female driver who mistakenly thinks she can have both a career and children.

True. I've noticed it as well. Just imagine how much higher it could go if inflation gets worse, which it likely will. It is truly insane the amount of QE our government is doing just to try to prevent something that is natural. Recessions happen and things would eventually recover on their own. This idea that we can prop things up until the next election is going to devalue our dollar.
AKA we are all funding Trump's reelection efforts.

Socialism to fight socialism. Gotta love America.
I don't disagree with that. It is disturbing. But equally as disturbing, are our news outlets (MSNBC, Yahoo, ABC, etc.) trying to ignite riots and destabilize the country by creating a systemic racism narrative. It's a disturbing time we are living in and that's why I can't call myself a democrat or republican.
Trying to ignite riots? By doing what, showing them? By discussing the continued violence against lrotesters and others?

There is no "systemic racism narrative". There is discussion about the current systemic racism, which absolutely exists. Good grief.

Racism exists, yes. But not at the level the media is trying to make everyone believe. They know exactly what buttons to push for the less intelligent.

Furthermore, there wasn't any strong evidence that George Floyd's death was because of racism. Police brutality? Absolutely. The media will use any opportunity it can to make something into a racist sitatuion.

Well, what is it that I'm missing?

-Is America more racist now than in the past?
-Are blacks worse off in America now in terms of opportunities than they were decades ago?

Easily, the answer is no to both those questions.

The real bigger problem is that we have too many people thinking emotionally and not learning how to spot the b.s. race-baiting in the media.

Yes, a C- on a test is an improvement over an F. But there's still improvements to be made. Saying "we're better than when blacks didn't count as a full person" doesnt mean that the process to improve should be ended.

The only acceptable goal should be when all citizens are granted truly equal rights and treatment.

The real bigger problem is people saying "what they have should be good enough. They should be fine with that."

I would argue that most of the problems with blacks in America comes from within their families. Unfortunately, that cannot be fixed by government. I would doubt that more government involvement is going to solve any problem, as we already have all kinds of things to help blacks try to succeed and then some. The bigger problem that few want to talk about is the family environments. Did you know that many blacks have actually said they feel less safe when a stranger walking by them is black rather than white? That's another issue no one is being honest about, and it starts with the family.

So, then my question for you then is why do black families have disproportionately more problems than the families of other races as you claim, what is the casue?

It's a complicated answer. Some of it comes from a herd mentality of giving into the attitude to entitlement. Some of it comes from refusing to take responsibility for your own life rather than blame others for your failures. Some of it comes from refusing to attempt to succeed because they believe things are stacked against them. All these things contribute to a bad home environment, which continues down through the next generation. In other words, there's all kinds of excuses that contribute to the problem. But to be fair, there IS wealth inequality in America. But again, this not a racism problem. It's a greed problem.

It's black America's fault they are discriminated against.

Racism is like pregnancy. It's quite binary. Either one is or isn't. There is no partial credit. One can't be "somewhat racist".

So sad you're 80 years old and still haven't recognized this.

Phd, so you're saying that their problems are not unique to them. That actually makes the argument worse that there's some unique thing holding them back. Exactly. There is nothing but their own work ethic and attitude that is holding them back. There are lazy people with an attitude of entitlement in every race -- you are correct.

You fail to recognize the centuries of oppression against African Americans and their communities that have led to the current situation. "Nothing but their own work ethic and attitude holding them back" is a flat out denial of reality.
