I posted this earlier....someone sent me a great quote when everyone was contemplating reopening a month or so ago (paraphrasing) "Just because the parachute slowed you down during the first 10,000 feet doesn't mean you can take it off when there is still 2000 feet to go"

No, because you are taking them out across the board. NYC still has many new cases. It’s closer to normalizing the outliers to see how 99% of the country was affected outside of nyc. This isn’t about just dropping the initial curve.
