Re: Redskins
So all comics are being persecuted by SJWs, Jerry Seinfeld, the billionaire, can’t get a fair shake because Karen McDougle has her take on twitter when she caught Jerry doing a walk on at the Comedy Cellar. Gotcha.
Re: Redskins
You're right. Once a comedian becomes succesful, they're invincible. There's never been an example of a comedian losing status. If you have a netflix special, who cares if someone tries to ruin your career to get more followers on Twitter.

Re: Redskins
Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappell and Chris Rock just signed $100, $60 and $40 million deals with just Netflix over the last few years. All the top 3 paid special series ever. Tell me who’s hurting and tell me who is trying to take them down?

If Bobby Applegate with his 421 followers is yelling at Jerry because “what’s the deal with applesauce!” then I don’t think Jerry is too concerned

I'm pretty sure PhD wants to occupy wall st.
Re: Redskins
Ok. So comedians like cancel culture, like having their unfinished material scrutinized, and like having jokes taken out of context so someone else can virtue signal. Got it. Makes sense. Why wouldn't they love that. Guess they were just lying all the times they said otherwise. Thanks.

Re: Redskins
I think he wants to defend I-Bankers for the tough go they had in March. Then Greg Abbott who lost a ton in pharma stock complained to Goldman about his portfolio got banned from Twitter for his outrage. Meanwhile the Bankers have been making bank in the churn over last three months, and PhD still upset at Greg.
Re: Redskins
See. Social media can be used to make shit up about people, or to try to make them look bad. But somehow that's a good thing. Lucky me.NiceDC wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 12:11 amI think he wants to defend I-Bankers for the tough go they had in March. You’re not nearly talented enough. You should hit those clubs more. Watch out for Becky Damond. She can be tough.PhDhawk wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 12:14 amSee. Re: Redskins
well coming back to this comment. and the concern over monopolies and too much concentration of power.
but the other side to that coin may be whether those companies and business owners are acting out of their own personal beliefs, or whether they're reacting to what their market wants?
Re: Redskins
Which could be just as bad. I mean, the market in this country was pretty pro-slavery until the civil war.ousdahl wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 12:19 amwell coming back to this comment. and the concern over monopolies and too much concentration of power.

Re: Redskins
when you put it that way, the civil war sounds like a socialist coup.
Re: Redskins
Where’s regular DC to tell NiceDC he is flailing?

NiceDC has it all figured out—he’s the voice that the comedy industry needs right now.

Re: Redskins
Washington Warriors seems to be the name gaining steam. Can do Warriors without any native imagery. Golden State is perfect example.
